Sworn Translator and Interpreter authorized in Italian, English and Spanish
Certified Public Translator in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Panama.
Court Interpreter with U.S. Federal Certification, technical Translator and Consultant
Two decades of experience as a certified translator fluent in French, English and Spanish.
I was born in Panama City and raised on the coast of Castrignano del Capo, in southern Italy. This life between cultures has given me a genuinely intercultural perspective that enriches all my linguistic and educational work.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with an Emphasis in Translation from Universidad Latina de Panamá, and I am a Sworn Translator and Interpreter authorized in Italian, English, and Spanish. I provide specialized translation services in the legal, diplomatic, academic, commercial, and corporate fields. As a court translator and interpreter, I ensure accuracy, impartiality, and confidentiality in all judicial processes and official proceedings.
I also teach Italian, using a pedagogical approach that combines linguistic and cultural skills for effective real-world communication. As an authorized provider of the CILS exams from the University of Siena, I support candidates seeking Italian citizenship by preparing them for internationally recognized certifications.
In the literary field, I have translated notable works such as En este lugar: Relato Coral Etnográfico sobre la vida en una cárcel de mujeres en Panamá and My Panama, sensitively capturing the cultural essence of the original texts and highlighting Panamanian identity.
With a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and deep intercultural awareness, I offer high-quality language services aimed at professional success and international recognition.
A communications professional committed to creating shared value through strategic communication and timely stakeholder management.
A graduate of Harding University in Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Management and a minor in writing, through which I sharpened my skills as a writer in formats such as essays, academic papers and journalistic writing under the Associated Press standard. During my time at university, I worked as a Copy Editor for The Bison (weekly newspaper) and wrote feature articles for the Petit Jean (yearbook), both student publications at Harding University with a tradition of excellence dating back to 1924. I later earned my Master's degree in Organizational Communication from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua, in Panama.
Throughout my professional career, I have worked as a communicator for the Panama operations of multinational companies headquartered in the United States, Singapore, Belgium and Italy, handling sensitive corporate communication, sustainability, and stakeholder management issues for high-profile energy and construction projects, with English as the primary working language.
In my free time, I volunteer for Fundación Libertad, a liberal-leaning think tank, through which I have attended international political leadership seminars in Germany, Belgium and Spain, and I am part of the recruitment and selection team for the Walton International Scholarship Program.
I come from a multicultural home where I was exposed to both English and Spanish from childhood, and without realizing it I developed an uncommon command of both languages. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology. After working in the field of engineering for a decade, I entered the world of translation, where I was able to develop my linguistic skills. I have had the opportunity to translate materials in diverse fields such as industrial and agricultural equipment, software localization, medical texts, legal documents and even literary works. I ventured into the world of legal interpretation more than 15 years ago, and obtained Federal Certification as a Court Interpreter in the U.S. in 2010. I have had the opportunity to serve as an interpreter in cases at the international level.
