My first steps into the English language were at a very young age at elementary school. After graduating from Saint George International School, I reckoned it was a good idea to complement my business bachelor’s with an English one. Thus, I enrolled myself at the University of Panama and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities with a Major in English sigma lambda. My master’s degree in Translation Studies from the University of Sheffield in England is one of my greatest achievements, not only because of the learning but also the multicultural experience that completed a comprehensive education that has allowed me to work on different business fields and facilitates my translation process. There is yet, a lot for me to learn, and hope working with you my open my mind to constantly improve my proficiency.

I was born and raised in Chitre, province of Herrera, Republic of Panama. I finished high school in Miami Beach Senior High School, Miami Beach, Florida.In 1992, I returned to Panama and joined law school, obtaining a Degree on Law and Political Sciences in 1999, from Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua, Panama City. Then, I completed an LL.M. in Comparative Law (Master’s of Law for International Attorneys) at University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.
With regards to my job experience, I have worked at the former Inter-oceanic Region Authority (A.R.I.); Office of the Attorney General and Joint Venture Panama, Inc.

Graduated from Harding University, in Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Management in a minor in writing, which helped me sharpen my skills in essay-writing, research papers and news writing following Associated Press standards. During my time as a student, I worked as Copy Editor for "The Bison" (weekly newspaper) and wrote feature stories for the "Petit Jean" (yearbook), both Harding University student publications with a tradition of excellence since 1924. Later, I earned my Master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Santa María La Antigua Catholic University (USMA), in Panama.
Throughout my career I have worked as a communicator for Panamanian operations of multinational corporations headquartered in the United States, Singapore, Belgium, and Italy, attending sensitive issues regarding corporate communications, sustainability and stakeholder management for high-profile energy and construction projects, being English the main working language.
In my spare time, I volunteer for Fundación Libertad, a liberal think-tank, through which I have attended political leadership seminars in Germany, Belgium and Spain and belong to the recruitment and selection team of the Walton International Scholarship Program.
